"From the first visit Kate and my 2-month-old Maltese puppy, Fable, connected immediately. Working with Kate was one of the best decisions I made when bringing home a new puppy. Kate had been referred to me by one of my co-workers. I've never worked with a personal dog trainer before. Kate came to the house and worked with Fable and I in our own home environment. Fable would get so excited to see Kate and be so sad when she left. After each session Kate would send a follow-up email. Which included helpful links to products, additional support, puppy socialization classes, and examples about what we talked about during the session. She also included YouTube videos to teach Fable and I more about things we were learning. Kate really listened to my concerns, so each session was tailored to focus on things that Fable and I had been struggling with since the last session. She was creative, thinking of new ways to teach a puppy - who's not very food motivated - how to follow commands and be engaged. Kate kept Fable's interest and made training a fun positive experience.
